Let me guess. You like science apologetics and you know it’s important, but sometimes you wish the cookies were placed on the lower shelf. I’m right there with you. As an editor I have access to the scholars and can ask a question or go to lunch with them to learn more about a discovery. When that interaction results in easier-to-understand evidence for the Christian faith and for RTB’s biblical creation model, I’ll try to place those delicious cookies within easy reach, although I can't guarantee they won't disappear once Fuz gets wind of them.

After years of editing materials by RTB’s scholar team, we began toying around with the idea of taking the meaty evidence the scholar team discusses and breaking it up into fun-sized chunks. Though we’re not heavy into science or philosophy, we’ve discovered that without them we’re missing out on some important reasons to believe. (nudge nudge, wink wink)

As the only creatures made in the image of God (Genesis 1:26–27), humans alone pursue, discover, and reflect upon the truths of logic, mathematics, science, philosophy, religion, and the arts. Only human beings develop a comprehensive world-and-life view and philosophize about whether their belief systems best match reality. In the best sense, my hope is that this blog will help and challenge Christians to think carefully about the implications of their worldview.

Maureen's Musings (Archives only)
Not long ago, my interactions with science went no further than studying general ed textbooks, watching "Shark Week" TV shows, and conducting accidental chemistry experiments in the kitchen.
Enter Reasons To Believe.
Despite my previous indifference to science, working at RTB has profoundly impacted my faith. So how do science apologetics relate to someone so “unscientific”? Join me as I explore the personal, spiritual, and practical relevance of RTB’s arguments.
